Hey there. I'm Jenna but nobody except my parents call me by that so I'm either Yoda or Yodalie or what ever. I'm still at high school ( a young one) but almost its over. Studying music at school because I'm on a scholarship. I play the violin (electric and classical) ad have recently been put on a dvd looking like a beached whale in my concert uniform! Don't know why i'm telling you this! When I finish school I'm going to travel and study to Italy. I love music and sport (especially soccer). Hmmm. I can't spell and probably should go back a couple of grade to learn so if anything I wrote doesn't make sense it is probably just me not you! I think that's all!

Hey if you want to fly me over then I'm happy yo teach you. Mind you you are probably better off getting a teacher over there! It is hard to learn with out a teacher but as long as you can read music you're on a good start

Canadiansmiles! I didnt know you were a sports injury specialist....that so cool, I would love to do something in that field since Im so into sports.
I got a question for you though.....how long does it usually take after surgery for a torn meniscus for you to start walking again w/ out crutches?
And Hoy Chow, I remember you from Benharper.net. You're in Fullerton, CA? Im in Fullerton as well but dont go to school there.....

Hey Trayte, to answer you question it kinda depends on how bad the tear was. If they just went in with a scope and snipped off the torn piece, with proper rehab you should be full weight bearing in a couple weeks. But, within that time you should go from using the crutches to bear your full weight to just feather walking with them. And that is totally ballpark, being conservative, if you can weight bear on it without it altering your gait or being in pain, then go for it. As long as there is no post-op complications a menisus repair is pretty routine. If there was also ligament damage the process will be extended.....typically menisus tears and ligament tears go hand in hand. I don't know if that helps, let me know, was this info for you?
